Mattara Dry Cleaners is a family-owned business and has been operating since 1982. The word Mattara is an aboriginal word meaning “Hand of Friendship”. The business ensures all our customers experience that friendly atmosphere when visiting Mattara Dry Cleaners. Our workmanship is second to none with all the latest equipment, including a Hydrocarbon machine, the only one in the Newcastle area.

We recycle most of our cleaning materials and have an extensive solar system to help care for the environment. We also encourage our customers to return their plastic wrapping so we can send them off to be recycled.
